CLASS POLICIES

  1. No children under 12 years old are allowed in group exercise room unless children are accompanied by a parent.
  2. Please refrain from using your cell phone during class.
  3. Please respect classes in session, keep voices down inside and outside the room.
  4. When entering/leaving a class late/early, please be as quiet and careful as possible.
  5. When participating in classes please follow the workout given by the instructor only.
  6. Most importantly have fun, bring your friends/family and let us know how we can better our programs for YOU.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

AGGRESSION WOULD YOU RATHER BURN 300 CALORIES ON A TREADMILL-BY YOURSELF OR BURN UP TO 1000 CALORIES AND HAVE FUN? Similar to boxing aerobics this class combines intense cardio with encouragement to work out your daily stresses. See instructor for equipment needed.

MILITARY BOOT CAMP – Welcome to the military, this class was based on techniques and programs used by the military to get our solders to top physical condition. 

TH-AB-ULOUS – Firm Thighs, Tight Abs… With new and proven techniques we will help you target those problem areas to give you the physique you’ve always wanted. (Formerly Butts & Guts)

FIT N FABULOUS – Combining Pilates, Step aerobics, and balance training we will help new and experienced exercisers continue looking fabulous well over 50.

YOGA – A total mind & body workout, it will help you build strength, flexibility, muscle balancing and relaxation.  Release your mind & body from tension and regain balance and energy. 

INSANITY-(NEW) Perform long bursts of maximum-intensity exercises with short periods of rest.  This insanity workout keeps you constantly challenged as you alternate between aerobic and anaerobic intervals performed at your MAX.  The result: Burn up to 1,000 calories in an hour.

ZUMBA - (NEW) Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That's exactly what the Zumba program is all about. Its an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow.  Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that's moving millions of people toward joy and health.

CYCLING – Cycling consists of sprints, jumps, seated hills all performed on the bike.  A great way to tone and firm lower body while strengthening your cardio endurance. (A Cycling pass is required to attend, please see front desk for pass 30 minutes prior to class start)

ARMS & ABS – Using free weights and core exercises to target your arms and abdominals this class will challenge you while having fun.  

KETTLEBELL TRAINING (KBT) - Using KB’s you’ll work your way to tighter abs, a stronger back, burning fat and increased energy levels while using a ballistic, but NON-impact approach.

JIU JITSU/Open Mat – ($$) Ages 10&UP Is a defensive and offensive martial art, designed to aggressively defend yourself on the ground using a system based on leverage, joint manipulation and technique, rather than size and strength.

MUAY THAI KICKBOXING -is a combat sport from Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques.

CARDIO KICKBOXING-The techniques used during the one-hour classes, using conventional heavy bags and training pads, are based on authentic kickboxing techniques which provide both resistance training and cardiovascular benefits to its participants.
